Tristan - ADOPTED!

Marmee-Gray&White-dsh-senior-CatPosse-adopt

Poor, sweet Tristan was a stray cat that showed up at one of our foster's homes.  They fed him but he was skittish and would not let anyone near him.  This went on for a couple of months, and then one day he showed up and his face was all bloody and they knew they had to get him to a vet.  He didn't come every day but she got him used to eating inside a humane trap and when he was finally comfortable and eating all the way inside, the trap was set and he was off to the vet.  Once at the vet, he was not aggressive and was not acting feral; just extremely frightened.  Our vet thought he had either been attacked by something or hit by a car.  She neutered him, took blood for a panel, and stiched up his wounds.  His bloodwork was pretty good but it did show that he is FIV+ (feline immunodeficiency virus) .

The Truth About Feline AIDS - News & Publications

He can live in a household with other cats as he is gentle and not aggressive at all.  He follows his foster mom everywhere and loves to roll around and show his belly.  He seems so happy to be off the streets and away from whatever hurt him.  He deserves a chance to be loved and cherished by someone special.  Could that be you?
